EARTHQUAKE CAKE

  • 1 cup chopped nuts (your choice)
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 package German chocolate cake mix
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cube margarine
  • 1 lb. powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring

Grease 9x13 cake pan. Sprinkle nuts and coconut over bottom of pan. Prepare cake mix as directed on package and pour over nuts and coconut.

Beat together cream cheese, margarine, powdered sugar, and vanilla flavoring. Spread over raw cake mix. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, then at 300° for 3 minutes more.
