July 29-31, 2011 MEEKS REUNION
I (John) attended the Meeks Family Reunion at the Uinta County Youth Camp. I met a lot of family on Mom's side that I had never met before. Meeks reunions are held every year, but this was the first I knew of them. I plan to attend regularly.
June 23, 2011 GRAHAM JOAQUIN IS HERE
Graham Joaquin (pronounced "Wakeen) arrived in the Jessica and Brandon Vergara family today. He weighed in at 9 lbs 4 oz, and is 6' 0". Debut was by C-section. He and Mom are doing well. Congratulations, Graham and Jessica and Brandon!

April 15, 2011 MATEO RIVER ARRIVES
Mateo River arrived today in the Matt and Alicia Triplett family. He was 19 1/2 inches long and weighed 6 lbs. 15 oz. Birth was by C-section. Mateo and Alicia are doing well. Congratulations!
Jan. 5-9, 2011 RUSSELL AND FAMILY MOVE TO PENNSYLVANIA
Russell's job has taken him to Pennsylvania, where he will be project engineer on a hospital rennovation/addition. Russell drove a stuffed-to-the-hilt rental truck and towed a car. Melissa, Makai, and Joan followed in their other car. They encountered a big snow storm in Indiana, which delayed them half a day. Otherwise they arrived safely. Ward members helped them move into their house. Joan will fly back Monday or Tuesday.
Feb. 27, 2011 KIDS WIN CONTESTS
Several of our kids have done well in their school competitions. Autumn won first prize for a quilt she made for her social studies fair. Hannah won first place for an essay in the D.A.R.E. competition. Jaron won second place in his district science fair. His project was an investigation of the electrical conductivities of various materials. He now will compete in the state fair. Well done, kids!
